Parent/Caregiver Support

Empowering caregivers to build confident children and connected families.

Parenting is a journey filled with unique joys and challenges. Whether you're seeking to strengthen your bond, gain new insights, or process personal experiences, our approach is centered on helping you build a more confident, connected, and resilient family life.

Circle of Security Parenting (COSP)

COSP is ideal for parents of children with behavioral or social emotional challenges. To meet the needs of each family, our time together is spent in an 8-week, attachment-focused, reflective parenting group with other families or individually to add more support where needed.

  • COSP is a program designed to help caregivers better understand their child’s emotional needs, strengthen their bond, and move beyond reactive parenting. This model is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships support healthy development. Whether you're looking for guidance, support, or new parenting tools, Circle of Security Parenting can help you create a stronger, more connected relationship with your child. Let’s work together to build security and confidence in both you and your child.

Counseling for Parents: Healing for You, Strength for Your Child

Counseling is ideal for caregivers who feel overwhelmed with their child’s behaviors, wanting to respond with confidence as well as adults who have their own hurts impacting their parentings. Counseling sessions are held weekly or bi-weekly for 50 minutes, using therapeutic tools and reflective practices to help you feel seen, heard, and understood.

  • Parenting is deeply personal, shaped by our own experiences, joys, and wounds. Infant Mental Health teaches us that our well-being directly impacts our child’s sense of safety and connection. When we explore our struggles, heal past hurts, and build emotional awareness, we become more present, attuned, and resilient parents. Through this work, you'll gain insight, coping strategies, and emotional support—so you can nurture your child from a place of strength and connection.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is ideal for those caregivers who have experienced traumatic events, struggle with anxiety/depression, intrusive thoughts or are feeling triggered with the difficulties adjusting to parenting. Our time together will be spent strengthening resources and reprocessing experiences. Sessions will last from 50min to 2 hours.

  • EMDR is a therapy that helps people process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences. Using bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds), EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they feel less overwhelming. It’s an evidence-based approach that reduces emotional distress and strengthens coping, allowing people to move forward with greater resilience and well-being.

Education

Seeking to better understand your own child is ideal for everyone. Our time together will be a combination of parenting classes through Conscious Discipline, Circle of Security Parenting resources and a reflective space.

  • Parenting comes with challenges, but understanding child development, emotions, and behavior can make a difference. Psychoeducation provides parents with tools to navigate stress, strengthen attachment, and support their child’s emotional well-being. When parents feel informed, they feel more confident—and relationship thrives.
