About Kyle Ohl

Parallel Counseling, LLC is the product of over 10 years of working as an infant and early childhood mental health (ECMH) consultant and therapist. In our work, the relationship between the parent and child is the healing agent, as we meet each person where they are with acceptance and authenticity.

In 2010 I started my work in early childhood mental health, becoming passionate about the preventative nature of the work. A safe caregiver/child relationship is the largest protective factor in building resilient children. 

In 2015, I moved to Grand County, CO where I live, work and play now. I have expanded my work to a focus on relationship and attachment-based therapy, where the relationship is considered the client. This allows for healing and growth for both the child and the parent. I am honored to bring my expertise so close to home, meeting a great need of my community.
